My Theme Proposal

I have a few themes that I am interested in first would be:

Health and Medicine (since that is my career field, I would like to learn more about it) :

           Personal : Surgery, illnesses, exercise, dieting, health issues, pregnancy
           Observation : hospitals, clients homes, nursing homes, clinics, gym
           Argument : health care cost, insurance rates, teen pregnancy, drug addictions

another topic that I would like to be my theme is Family and Relationships

           Personal : Breakups, Mother to child, domestic violence, death in family, Single Parent, finances
           Observation : family home, friends home, nursing homes,court
           Arguments : Adoption, pregnancies not planned, divorce, abortion, custody battles

I cant think of a third one sorry. I am also sorry that I am late I had emailed you telling you why, I hope you understand.

Autobiography

 My name is Catarina Crespo.  I'm in my second semester at BCC.  This is my first time doing online courses.  I live in Fall River with my son and my fiancee.  I enjoy reading horror and mystery novels.  One of my favorite writers is Stephen King's The Shining.  I enjoy reading in my spare time which I rarely have due to having a family and being a CNA.  I also enjoy reading books to my son.  I wish I had more time to read to him because I believe it would encourage him to want to learn more and maybe become a writer someday. I always have a hard time writing about things. I think that is going to be one of my challenges this semester.  I seem to do better when it isn't a timed writing assignment.  Another challenge I think I might have is brainstorming and coming up with ideas to write about.  When I am thinking of ideas to write about, I like to be in a quiet place.  I do not like to be disturbed.  I find that it is easier to concentrate.  My 5th grade teacher helped me express my feelings on paper and open up to write about them.  I think it's easier to type on a computer than writing on a piece of paper.  You can always move things around instead of rewriting the whole paper or erasing something and making your document look messy. When I write I like to write about personal experiences.  I think it makes it easier for me.  This semester I want to accomplish being a better writer and expressing my thoughts and ideas better.
